Laxmi Sustainable Energy Fund to Invest in Unitech Hydropower 

Kathmandu: Laxmi Sustainable Energy Fund, the promoter Laxmi capital fund is to strategic investment in Unitech Hydropower Company limited. Fund is going to have strategic investment in two projects that has been under construction in Taplejung District. 

For strategic investment there has been an agreement between the company and fund. This fund is the first private equity fund of Laxmi Capital. 

This fund will invest in renewable and sustainable energy including hydropower, solar and wind energy, with the investment size of 1 billion.

Unitech Hydropower is construction Upper FawaKhola Hydroelectric project 5.8MW capacity in Taplejung. Likewise, the company has forwarded the construction process of 15 MW Mid Ingwakhola hydroelectric project.
