Foundation laying of Amarpur-Dhungesanghu 132 kV Transmission Line

Kathmandu; A significant milestone was achieved with the stone laying ceremony for the 132 kV Amarpur-Dhungesanghu Transmission Line Project. The event took place in Panchthar, Nepal, symbolizing the commencement of this crucial infrastructure development.

The Nepal Electricity Authority, serving as the client, proudly oversees the project, while the esteemed contractor, Cosmic Electrical Limited, has been entrusted with the responsibility of executing the project’s vision.

The 132 kV Amarpur-Dhungesanghu transmission line is poised to play a pivotal role in enhancing the region’s power system reliability upon completion. This vital infrastructure initiative aligns with the broader commitment to fortify and modernize Nepal’s electrical grid, ensuring a resilient and efficient energy network.

Anup Gautam, the Project Chief, expressed his enthusiasm about the project’s potential impact. He highlighted the collaborative efforts between the client and the contractor, emphasizing their shared commitment to delivering a robust and reliable power transmission system.

The ceremony was graced by the president of rural municipality and the residents of the project area. The stone laying ceremony signifies the collective dedication and determination to drive progress and elevate the power infrastructure in Taplejung and Panchthar. As the project unfolds, it is anticipated to bring about positive transformations, contributing significantly to the overall socio-economic development of the region.
