Kathmandu: Newly appointed Managing Director of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Kulman Ghising assumed the office on Wednesday.

Ghising has assumed the office after receiving the appointment letter from the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation this afternoon.

He was welcomed by the staff of NEA.

The Government on Tuesday re-appointed Ghising as the managing director of the NEA after 11 months of his first term.

The Cabinet meeting of Tuesday had decided to appoint Kulman Ghising as the MD of NEA.
