Kathmandu: Eleven bodies were recovered from the Audit-3 tunnel of the Upper Trishuli-1 Hydroelectric Project on Saturday as search and rescue teams continued efforts to locate people still missing following the disaster.
The bodies were found buried in mud and entangled in wire mesh inside the tunnel during a search operation conducted by a joint rescue team, including project representatives.
According to the search and rescue update, all 11 bodies recovered from the tunnel have been retrieved. The search operation for other missing individuals is continuing.
