IPPAN Vice-president and Consul General of Mauritius Karki gets honorary doctorate degree

KATHMANDU, The European International University in Malaysia has awarded the honorary degree of the PhD to the Consul General of the Republic of Mauritius to Nepal Ganesh Karki.

The hydropower producer Karki, also the vice-president of the Independent Power Producers’ Association, Nepal, has been honored with a ‘Professional Doctoral Certificate’ under the category of ‘Global Leader and Management.’

The honorary PhD was conferred to Karki amid a program organized at Hotel Westin of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on July 30. Malaysian Princess Dr Romona Murad also attended the ceremony.

Likewise, Founder and Director General Dr Edward Roy Krishnan and Management Head Robert Brand represented Kathmandu University for the program. Miss Asia Rashmi Thakur was among the presents.

A total of 10 scholars received their PhDs, while other 45 MBA graduates were graced at the occasion.
