Introduction
NEEK was established in a joint venture between young Nepalese Entrepreneurs and "Ekarat Engineering Public Co. Ltd:' of Thailand in the year 1990. With continued support from our valued customers over the years we have been able to serve for the last Thirty Years in the manufacturing of Distribution and Power Transformers. NEEK factory is located at Thyanabharang, Hetuada, Nepal, While the corporate office is located at Thapathali, Kathmandu, Nepal.
The first product of NEEK was launched in August 1992 and with that NEEK has been consistent in quality and continues to make the most sought-after transformers in the country. Out of the installed Distribution Transformers in Nepal, most of the quantities have been supplied by NEEK. The total production capacity and its product range makes NEEK the Largest transformer manufacturer in the country.
NEEK was the first company in the country to be implement the ISO standards and currently is certified with the ISO 9001: 2015 as an adherence in the manufacturing of quality products in a clean, healthy and safe environment that follows the principle and procedures of QMS in every aspect of our manufacturing process for the continual improvements of quality in our products. We have achieved NS Standard of our Transformers since October 12 2011 A.D and are the only NS Standard certified Transformer Company of Nepal since October 12 2011 A.D. Neek is also certified ISO 45001 for occupation health and saferty. For the last 30 years NEEK has been able to continue being the market leader in its sector for Nepal due to our constant vision of continuous improvement and uncompromised belief of providing quality products to the market.

Quality And Testing
The purpose of testing is to prove the validity of all technical data and to ensure the sound performance of the transformer. NEEK transformers are subjected to Routine tests which are carried out on all transformers and Type Tests are carried out on all of the new designs of the Distribution Transformers.

NEEK with Human Rights
NEEK protect labor rights and promote safe and secure working environments for all workers, and have effective measures to eradicate forced labor, modern slavery and prohibition of child labor, including recruitment and prohibition of all forms of violence against all women and girls in the public and private spheres, including trafficking, modern slavery and sexual and other types of exploitation. NEEK has always put focus on providing to customer requirements in a clean, healthy and safe environment.
CSR Giving to the Community
We as company has strong stand to involve in CSR activities and return something to community, government authorities, schools, universities, employees in any possible ways. To follow that commitment NEEK as a company has always allocated certain percentages of our budget for CSR activities. Some of our current CSR efforts includes but not limited to:
1. Support to Nepal Micro Hydropower Development Association.
2. 750 kVA Transformer Donation to Kathmandu University Turbine Testing Lab.
3. 25 and 50 KVA Transformer donation for rural electrification to National Association of Community Electricity Users- Nepal.
4. Two 25 kVA Transformers donated to Nepal Telecom Wireless Service Directorate.
5. Financial contribution for Erection and Commissioning of Dhading Micro Hydro.
6. Education benefit program for employee children.
7. During covid, financial contribution to National Business Initiative ("NBI") to import oxygen generating plants from Europe and provide assistance to install plants at several national and regional hospitals.
